DR. UMEAKUEWULU EMBARKS ON WORKING TOUR, INSPECTS KEY HOSPITAL FACILITIES The Chief Medical Director of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka, Dr. Maureen Uche Umeakuewulu, embarked on a working tour of some units of the hospital including the Accident and Emergency Department, Mother and Child Care Unit, Laboratory Centre, and the Special Out-Patient Department (SOPD). During the tour, she assessed the working conditions of the various facilities with a view to strengthening service delivery and ensuring that the hospital continues to move from progress to progress. The inspection formed part of her commitment to improving operational efficiency and enhancing patient care across critical departments. Speaking during the tour, Dr. Umeakuewulu emphasised the need for collective responsibility, noting that all stakeholders must work at peak capacity to advance the institution. She stated that the hospital belongs to everyone and called for sacrifice, collaboration, and dedication towards its continuous rise as a hospital gearing towards global standard and recognition. Nkem Obiano; Head of Nursing Services, Mrs. Angel Nebo; Public Relations Officer, Agbai Henrietta; Head of Internal Audit, Mrs. Uju Ejiofor; Head of Stores, Mrs. Blessing Mozo; as well as some Heads of Units and other staff.
